There are many differences about “tsumetai” between other countries and Japan…
I was recently told that I was “tsumetai” from someone.
“tsumetai” means cold, cool… the thing is that I am shortage of kindness.
I can’t tell you what happining is in detail, but… think about it…
What about you? Do you think you are kind to me? Do you think you completely did like what you requested me?
I don’t like the person always blame, ignoring what you did.
The single day business trip
I went to Shizuoka prefecture for a single day business trip with my president by driving.
What for? It’s a preparation for a new business. I had to meet one person we needed for it.
On the way for Shizuoka, we dropped by the Hamanako rest area on the highway. Hamanako is one of famous lakes in Japan for eel.
I actually wanted to eat “una-don”, rice on which added fried eel(teriyaki-eel), however, we couldn’t.
Instead of “una-don”, we bought “unagi-pie”, one of baked snack. It was delicious.
Most of friends didn’t change.
I had the party “dousoukai” today.
My fuckin’ frind told me before that we formally went this party through, and we should wear a suit… I woke up, took a shower, put my suit on and headed…
“oh, HoneyPotter! How come you wear a suit?”
Oh…shit! My friend wearing T-shirt laughly said it to me… but there are many other friends wearing formal clothes.
ummmm….It’s been a long time to see my friends…It took fifteen years! ummm… some friends got fat…got bald…but most of friends didn’t change.
I had a happy time with my friends there.
Dousoukai is just around the corner…
I’m sorry I couldn’t write articles in this blog…
I’m having “dousoukai” this weekend. “dousoukai” is one sort of party, which old friends, such as a junior high school, high school, gather and talk about a lot of things.
This time I get “dousoukai” of high school. We haven’t met for over 15 years, so I think we, ofcourse including me, have changed… especially our appearance!
Fortunately, I don’t get bald head yet…and my figure doesn’t change…but there must be my friends who got fat and bald… Besides, there must be my friends who got divorced…
“Oh, honeypotter! You’ve changed! You got older!” or “Oh, honeypotter! You’ve not changed! You’re still young!”
I’ll report it how the party is in this blog.
My friend’s gone…
I got a phone call…from my friend’s wife… “He’s been in the hospital!” said she.
The following day…He’s gone… He’s the same age as I am.
Today, I went to the “tuya” for him.
In Japan, depending on the religions, we hold a funeral two times. “tuya” and “kokubetushiki”…
“tuya” means “staying the night, thinking about person who died”. “kokubetushiki” means “the final goodbye”.
Long time ago, people gathered and drunk in front of the person who died, thinking and talking about… Now that the custom is simplified, so we only can go to the place held “tuya” and pray in front of the person who died.
Recently, I’ve been thinking about death because the number of my friends who died is increasing…
How long am I able to keep living? How feeling will I get when I died?
My friend…please rest in peace…
